(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Florence Welch celebrated her 24th birthday with a massive concert in Ibiza on Tuesday night.

The Florence and the Machine singer ended the band’s 20-month tour with a show at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel. She flew in 25 friends and family members for the party, and supplied them all with glowsticks to wave throughout her performance.

Model Daisy Lowe, designer Jade Jagger, musicians Fatboy Slim and Kelis and actress Sadie Frost also attended the bash.

At the end of the band’s set, the 2,000 audience members sung Happy Birthday for Florence, leaving her in tears.

After the show, the singer said she was thrilled with the success of her tour, but felt ready for some time off.

“Singing is a release but it’s also exhausting. We’ve been on a massive journey,” she told British newspaper The Sun.

Florence said she was planning to use her time off to write the band’s next album and pursue other projects. Her mother is also encouraging her to go back to university, and the star says she is considering it.

“I really think I would enjoy going back. I’d love to study English,” she said.
