(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Florence Welch has revealed she dances topless in her dressing room before taking to the stage.

The British songstress lead singer of Florence + the Machine - admits she sometimes gets overwhelmed before a big performance. The flame-haired star completes the naked ritual to calm her anxiety right before donning her stage costumes.

"In the middle of getting changed to stage clothes there's normally a moment I just wear pants," she is quoted as saying by British newspaper The Sun. "So I just do some sort of strange dancing in my pants. I find that lets my inhibitions go and I can go out."

Florence has revealed her theory behind her semi-naked jig. The 24-year-old singer, who is best known for her hit You've Got The Love, believes dancing before her shows is the perfect way to release her inhibitions.

"If you don't mind dancing in a silly way in underwear, you probably won't mind going out performing," she added. (C) Cover Media
