(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Paris Hilton has revealed she is working on a new album.

The socialite is planning to release the record as soon as possible and claims that it might hit the shelves as early as this summer.

The heiress, who stars in her own reality TV show and runs a business empire of Paris Hilton merchandise including beauty products and books, released her last musical offering in 2006.

The self-titled album included a mix of pop and hip hop-influenced songs but Paris is keen to try something new with her latest material.

"I am working on my album," she told OK! magazine at the Nivea and Shay Todd Summer Chateau Party in Los Angeles. "It's pop and a little more house music, as well. Dance."

The 30-year-old blonde revealed that she was planning to collaborate with DJ Afrojack and other "really dope DJs," on her second release.

Paris is hoping to get the dance-influenced album out in time for summer, but admitted she has a lot on her plate.

"A few months, maybe this summer. It's a lot! I am so busy!" she said. (C) Cover Media
