(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Freida Pinto has no plans to move away from Mumbai because she likes watching people fighting on the street.

The stunning actress shot to fame in 2008 movie Slumdog Millionaire, and has gone on to appear in Woody Allens You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger and new movie Miral, about an orphaned Palestinian girl who is drawn into the first Arab-Israeli war as she is growing up.

Although many stars feel the need to move to Hollywood when they become successful, Freida has bucked the trend. She still lives in Mumbai, India, insisting there is absolutely no need for her to uproot her life.

I dont need to live in LA technologys so advanced I can audition on Skype now, she explained. Theres never a dull moment in Mumbai. You can be stuck in traffic and watch someone dancing or getting into a fight.

Freida is dating her Slumdog Millionaire co-star Dev Patel, who is from the UK. Although the pair dont live near each other they make sure the keep their romance fresh, with video-calling apparatus Skype essential to them.

Well, like I say, theres Skype, Freida told Stylist magazine, when asked how they keep the passion alive. But we also know that to make it work we have to meet in the middle. If one of us has time off theyll fly over and make the most of it. (C) Cover Media
