(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Will Ferrell says he has to throw all his clothes away after wearing them once because hes a germaphobe.

The 43-year-old comedy actor is famed for his roles in hit movies such as Blades of Glory, The Other Guys and Elf, and is celebrated for his wacky sense of humour.

Will has now joked that he has to spend a fortune on clothing, claiming he only likes to wear garments once before he discards them.

I do well, but Im terrible with my money. In an average week, were getting close to the holidays, [I spend] $50, 000 a week on clothing, shoes, belts, he told a BBC radio show.

I just wear them once then throw them away. Im a horrible germaphobe.

The funny man then went on to joke that he actually reuses all the belts he buys to turn them into a nest to sleep in, teasing that he did live in a trailer but he was evicted from it.

Will went on to laughingly reveal that belts dont make for a particularly comfortable nights sleep though.

I was evicted from the trailer so I have to figure out where to go next, he explained. I get rid of the shoes but I keep all the belts...I sleep on a bed of belts. Its horrible, I tried to rearrange the belts like a nest. (C) Cover Media
