Now that he has completed shooting for his forthcoming venture directed by ace Kollywood filmmaker Vishnuvardhan, Pawan Kalyan is all set to start working on his next project, Gabbar Singh, which is a remake of Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg.

According to sources, the actor will join the shoot of the movie in Pollachi in Tamil Nadu from October 10.The shoot is already going on and some scenes which don't require the presence of Pawan are being shot by the cast and crew.

'In a non-stop schedule of 50 days, Pawan will be finishing off most part of his scenes for the movie. He is excited to work in Gabbar Singh as Dabangg is one of his favourite Hindi films which he had watched many a time,' circles close to the actor say.

Dabanng is currently being remade in Tamil too, with Simbu aka STR playing the lead role. Titled Vosthi, it is being directed by Dharani, who is popular in Tollywood too. At present, the equivalent of Munni song is being shot in Chennai with Simbu and Mallika Sherawat.
