After 'Barfi', Anurag Basu is once again teaming up with Ranbir Kapoor for his upcoming film, 'Jagga Jasoos' and this is Anurag's first co-produced film with the heartthrob.

But trouble heads in as post 60 percent of shooting, the entire format of storytelling has been changed. The film is supposedly a full blown musical narrative while in parallel, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is also knitting a film, a musical called 'Mirziya'.

Therefore, Anurag decided to drop the story flow and reshoot the 50 percent of the film. One of the biggest blow of the film is that Govinda is playing the father of Ranbir in the film while the other is, lovebirds Ranbir and Katrina screen pair up after a long gap.
