Genelia D'Souza, who is a popular actress in all four south Indian languages, is currently in Hyderabad, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh, to shoot for the Telugu film Naa Ishtam.

Paruchuri Prasad said, "She has done a wonderful job and her cute lover girl role is bound to grip the audience. The on-screen chemistry of Gennie with Rana will be yet another strength of the film."

Meanwhile, Genelia, who shared screen space with Hansika Motwani in the recent Vijay starrer Tamil film Velayudham, may work with the same actress again, this time for Dhanush starrer Maareesan.

A source says, 'Maareesan is a fantasy film, set in contemporary times and Dhanush will play an interesting character in it. The film is a two heroine subject, with both of them having equal weightage. Director Chimbu Devan has approached both Genelia and Hansika for the roles and is currently holding talks with them. It will be a while before any official confirmation can be made.'
