George Clooney's new love and his former flame collided last night.

Elisabetta Canalis was at the same event as the actor's new girlfriend Stacy Keibler, who were both there in honour of the Beauty Book For Brain Cancer charity in Hollywood.

The Italian television personality and former Dancing With The Stars contestant did not appear to be mourning her two-year relationship with George as she was with her new man.

Elisabetta and George broke up back in June but she has now moved on with hunky True Blood actor Mehcad Brooks. The pair were said to be canoodling all night and the 33-year-old did not appear to be pining for the A-list actor.

Meanwhile, Stacy walked the red carpet alone but is said to be smitten with George who has been whisking her around the world with him on vacation and for various events.

Although the couple are said to be enjoying each other's company, Stacy will be sure not to mention children or marriage which would be a death nail in the relationship for confirmed bachelor George.

He reportedly ended it with Elisabetta after she wanted to take their relationship to another level which George is reluctant to do after his four-year marriage to actress Talia Balsam came to an end in 1993.

"I tried marriage and it didn't work. I have had long relationships with women and they get bored with me working all the time," he has said in the past.

"My fear is that I would make a lousy husband and I don't want to put myself, or anyone else, through the pain of finding out. If I was my girlfriend, I wouldn't put up with me for very long."

It is not yet known if Elisabetta and Stacy came face to face or said anything to each other but they would be sure to have lots to talk about if they did.
