Justin Timberlake has left a great impression on a U.S. Marine who he accompanied to her party in Virginia over the weekend.

Corporal Kelsey De Santis has spoken for the first time about having the Sexy Back singer as her date for the Marine Corps Ball.

Speaking on Good Morning America today, Kelsey shared her thoughts on Justin who she invited to the event via YouTube back in July.

"He was a complete gentleman!" Kelsey revealed. "I didn't know what to expect really. I was super, super excited."

Kelsey said that she enjoyed Justin's company and shared what her favourite part of the night was.

"As soon as the ceremony ended, not only just the look on Justin's face and everyone else's face, and the feeling in the entire room," she shared. "It was a great time. He had a smile on his face the whole time."

Justin was just as enamoured with Kelsey and wrote about her humility on his website after the party.

"My time at the Marine Corps Ball turned out to be one of the most moving evenings I've ever had," Justin wrote on his website.

"Kelsey seemed to me to be so humble and honest... Very cool. She also simultaneously seemed like she was nervous about the whole evening and if I was going to enjoy myself. 'Are you ok?' she asked 2 or 3 times."

"I've met so many of my heroes from Michael Jordan to Michael Jackson and nothing makes me feel more honour and pride than when I get to meet one of you. Last night changed my life and I will never forget it."
