This Ghost is just funny, not scary!

Horror flick 'Ghost' turns out to be a sheer disappointment to the fans who love the genre. The film that has been made with an intention to scare the audience just makes them smile and at times even laugh. Shiney Ahuja has failed to shine yet again, as his performance in the film is just like his film career, which is still sailing in storm. Shiney Ahuja's chemistry with model turned actor Sayali Bhagat is another drawback of the film.Puja Jatinder Bedi's narration of the story is infantile.

Moving on to the story, City Hospital has been witnessing a series of brutal murders. According to Dr. Suhani (Sayali Bhagat), the murders are caused by some supernatural powers but detective Vijay Singh (Shiney Ahuja) disagrees to this, much to his disappointment. He finds out that his assassinated wife Mary (Julia) is the reason behind the murders.

Mary was crucified just like Jesus and the people behind her murder are now being killed by her evil spirit.

First and foremost, the film is mostly made for Christians who know about Christ crucification; for the Indian masses, the film does not makes much sense, more so, because it is more of a comedy than horror. Puja's direction has failed completely. Her story and screenplay has gone haywire. Toshi- Shabri has churned out couple of good songs, but the music cannot be termed as everlasting. Sayali's dialogue delivery and her acting at times seems to be fake. In addition, the lead couple's chemistry is disastrous and shows they are forcefully made to romance each other. Expectations were riding high from Shiney's acting, but he too fails this time. The film that promises to display a romantic relation within key roles of Sayali and Shiney appears to be forced romantic sequence.

Even if the audience does not get scared after watching the movie, makers of 'Ghost' would surely get terrorized by its Box-office collections.
