December 13, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):The cast members of the FOXs musical show Glee have enjoyed an unscheduled holiday on December 10, 2010. And the unplanned temporarily shut down was due to some cast members falling ill suddenly.
A number of Glee members were down with tonsillitis thus leading to the cancellation of production on Friday. Dianna Agron, who essays the role of head cheerleader Quinn Fabray, tweeted saying that she was unwell but did not confirm it to be tonsillitis. She said that she thought it would be cured if she takes some rest, soup and watches some movies.
Kevin McHale, who is seen playing Artie Abrams, also took to Twitter to inform about feeling unwell. Mark Salling, who plays Puck, got lucky as he was quite in good health and enjoyed the holiday. He posted a picture of an outdoor setting on his Twitter page.
Lea Michele, who plays the singing sensation Rachel Berry, also had a great time and had a warm massage.
They were shooting a special episode, which was aimed at airing after 2011s Super Bowl. The Glee cast is supposed to start shooting after December 13 again. However, the scenes, which were supposed to be shot on Friday, will now be shot in January.
We wish speedy recovery to the Glee cast and hope they return back to the sets soon!
