The popular hero of Kannada cinema, Ganesh, who rose from a small time TV show called 'Namaskara Namaskara Namaskara' on Udaya TV, has been a much sought after hero. The actor recently turned 32. In the last six years, Ganesh has been crowned the 'Golden Star' after the Golden Jubilee of his film 'Mungaru Male'. He has acted in nearly 25 films as the hero and has given seven hits and an equal number of flops and average films.

On his birthday, after visiting the temple in the morning, Ganesh drove straight to an orphanage in Raja Rajeswari Nagar, on Mysore Road and met children who are mentally challenged.

The evening was totally dedicated to his family. On Ganesh's birthday, the executive producer of 'Mungaru Male', G Gangadhar, has announced a film starring the Golden Star.
