The long pending film 'Sihi Muthu' of ace cameraman Ashok Kashyap, who fought against leukemia, is free from hassles. This film is his directorial debut.

Ashok Kashyap (cameraman of recent 'Super' Kannada film) fell ill after beginning the shooting for 'Sihi Muthu'. The treatment and the expenses he had to undergo for the illness, kept him away from 'Sihi Muththu'.

Ashok Kashyap is financially stable, though. Ashok Kashyap had tried to get Salman Khan or Abhishek Bachchan to do a very special guest role and finally settled for the popular local hero, challenging star Darshan, for an item number in the film.

This is the first item song that Darshan has done and it went went on the floors on the 31st of March 2008 by Persona Communications, headed by Srishkumar, starring Dhyan, Premkumar, Komalkumar and Dimple Chopada. 'Sihi Muthu', meaning 'Sweet Kiss', is the ambitious venture of cameraman-turned-director Ashok Kashyap.
