The famous "Golmaal" series has been one turning point in director Rohit Shetty’s career that has changed his life forever. It is the super success of this franchise that has escalated Rohit’s position in the Hindi film industry.
And immediately after the success of "Golmaal 3" there was a huge public demand for Rohit to come up with "Golmaal 4". It has been more than one year that the third installment of the franchise has released and there is no trace of the fourth being taken on the floors any time soon. Rohit Shetty in the mean while announced quite a couple of films and even now he is not thinking of starting work on "Golmaal 4" in near future. He has completed the major portion of his forthcoming film "Bol Bachchan" and will next start working on "Chennai Express" starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead.
This will keep him busy this year and hence it pushes the next sequel of "Golmaal" series to next year. “Golmaal became the first trilogy in the history of Indian cinema. No matter what films I’m making, the "Golmaal" series will continue. The next one will take at least one and a half year to start the work on” said Rohit.
