The first weekend of the new year may not have introduced the South Indian audience to a very good film but Graduate is quite a fun watch if you can watch the movie with a bunch of friends. Armed with a perfect college setting, Graduate entertains with its dialogues, breezy romance and sometimes even the performances. All in all, it is the perfect film that the youth will want to watch over a lazy weekend.
Graduate tells the story of friends in college, how they fall in love on the spur of the moment, little thinking the far reaching consequences of their romantic escapades in the future. Even though, it is a love story of modern times, Graduate does not delve into the sexual side of love and therefore, may also be watched in the presence of all family members. Therefore, there is little doubt that the film has received the 'U' certificate from the censor board in India.
Graduate also sees the launch of another hero in Tollywood. Akshai is the new face in the film and also the Telugu film industry. A young boy himself, Akshai has put up a confident and easy going performance in Graduate. The music by composer Sandeep also helps the audience to love the story and the performances better.
