Harrison Ford reveals neat nature

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Harrison Ford has revealed he loves nothing more than cleaning up.

The 68-year-old Hollywood actor is celebrated for his roles in classic films such as the original Star Wars trilogy and the Indiana Jones franchise.

Despite leading a glamorous showbiz lifestyle, the movie star admits one of his favourite pastimes is completing household chores. The actor conceded that home cooking is a pleasurable experience during a recent interview, adding that tidying away afterwards is just as good fun.

And dont forget the cleaning up! he laughed to British newspaper The Times. Thats also enjoyable!

Harrison had been lamenting the fact that people in society no longer appear to enjoy the simple things in life. Thanks to enjoying a career as a carpenter before making it big in movies, Harrison has a great understanding of arts and crafts, and wishes people would indulge in manual pastimes rather than obsessing over modern technology. One of his biggest bugbears is when household appliances have been made shoddily.

You cant fix things because its cheaper to throw it away, he argued. Its made not to be fixed. Its made to be out of date by the time it gets to be fixed, and its cheaper to get another. Its a change, and it doesnt feel like a good one, that people dont know these simple things. Dont have these simple pleasures, actually.

The actor is currently promoting his latest movie Morning Glory, a witty comedy about a morning television show with warring hosts. He stars in the film alongside Rachel McAdams and Noah Bean. (C) Cover Media
