Harry Potter star: Rupert Grint is mean in new movie

9th November 2010

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Tom Felton is shocked by how mean and angry his co-star Rupert Grint looks in the upcoming Harry Potter movie.

Tom plays pure-blood wizard Draco Malfoy in the movie franchise, which has been adapted from the best-selling childrens books by J.K. Rowling.

The much anticipated penultimate film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One, is soon to be released, and it is expected to feature far darker themes than its predecessors.

Tom hasnt yet seen the film, although in the brief previews hes caught he found the on-screen group dynamics had completely changed.

"There's some great stuff I've seen between Dan, Rupert and Emma; it has a really different vibe to what they've had before," he told MTV.

"This whole perfect friendship thing kinda goes out the window, and some of the stuff they shot looks fantastic. Rupert, especially, I'm not used to him looking so mean or so angry. I only saw a snippet, but it looked fantastic, so I'm looking forward to seeing how their relationship plays out.

Tom isnt sure how much screen time he has in the upcoming movie as he hasnt seen the edited version, but hes pretty sure his fans will get to see a fair amount of him. The 23-year-old has promised some of his scenes are particularly thrilling.

"It's a bit hard for me to say, as I haven't actually seen the film myself. So the last thing I want to do is give false hope to any Draco fans out there, but I'm pretty sure there's going to be some stuff with the Malfoy Manor.

"You actually see where Draco and his family live, which is hugely exciting. They're a very extravagant family, he enthused. (C) Cover Media
