The Supreme Court has ordered the High court to speed up the process of Jiah Khan's case. Now the Bombay HC will hear the matter on June 7. Jiah's mother Rabiya Khan told the court in her plea that the court is not hearing the matter in a proper way and without a special public prosecutor.

Bombay High Court appointed CBI to investigate the case in the year 2014. Jiah's mother Rabiya Khan is accusing actor Sooraj Pancholi for Jiah's murder.

On the day of the hearing which took place on May 6, the prosecution had seeked to appeal the murder charge on Sooraj. In return, Sooraj's lawyer Prashant Patil claimed that there is no such evidence and that the charges levied on Sooraj are incorrect.
