(Cover) - EN Star Style - Hilary Duff thinks her new feather hair embellishments are like hair extensions.

The actress debuted a new brunette hairstyle woven through with feathers at the recent Global Action gala in Los Angeles. The 23-year-old fashion-savvy singer maintains the unusual woven feathers just as she does her long hair extensions.

Theyre just like extensions! she told People.

Hilary has sported a number of hairstyles throughout her career, and is currently brunette with blonde tones. After being famed for having long blonde locks for many years, the star is now thrilled to be embracing a variety of different shades, even pink, and has been getting experimental with her feathers.

You can brush them, curl them, straighten them, she said of her feathers.

Im sure that I have a pink one somewhere!

The singer is not shy of bold fashion ventures. She has also launched her own clothing lines, Stuff by Hilary Duff in 2004 and Femme for DKNY Jeans in 2009.
