21st January 2013

Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi made a dazzling entry in the Hindi film industry with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's film 'Gangs of Wasseypur'. She walked the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival for her very first film and since then there has been no looking back for her.

She was last seen in 'Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana' and will next be seen in 'Ek Thi Daayan' and 'D-Day'. It hasn't even been a year that she made an entry in Bollywood and she is already reaping the benefits of her work.

The 26-year-old actress confesses that she is content with her career as she couldn't have asked for more. "I don't know if it's destiny or luck. But it is the fact that I landed in Mumbai at the right time and fortunately met the right people. With my parent's blessing and hard work, I have somehow managed to do well. It has all worked out well for me," said Huma.

She also asserted that the variety of films have helped her explore around the industry. "The kind of films I am doing have introduced me to various genres. I am happy to explore myself as an actress," added Huma.
