(Cover) - EN Movies - Castmembers of The Hunger Games have reportedly embarked on extremely demanding stunt preparation.

Directed by Gary Ross, the sci-fi thriller is set for release in 2012, and is due to begin shooting in a months time.

The film will tell the story of a girl who joins a survival contest in a bid to save her community in a dystopian future, and confirmed stars include Jennifer Lawrence and Elizabeth Banks, with actor Wes Bentley being the most recent name linked to the movie.

According to reports, those involved in the film are undergoing a few sessions of stunt training per week to prepare for the action-packed movie.

"They have to learn archery, sword fighting, martial arts and the like," an insider told E! Online.

"They want the actors to genuinely know what they are doing."

The source added the movie will have a "very cool and futuristic feel". Apparently all the stars have been getting along very well so far which bodes for a successful shooting experience next month.

"The castmates are all really happy with each other and get along great so far," added the source. (C) Cover Media
