India's global icon Shah Rukh Khan recently launched the trailer of his film 'Happy New Year'.
His last film 'Chennai Express' managed to break several box office records and since then new benchmarks have been set.
While the 100-crore club enjoyed a fair amount of popularity in the media and industry, the latest fads are 200-300 crore clubs.
Films like 'Dhoom 3' and 'Krrish 3' are already the proud entrants of the same and now with 'Kick' speeding towards the same, there is a huge pressure and high expectations from SRK's 'Happy New Year' (HNY).
Starring SRK, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah and Jackie Shroff, 'HNY' is one of the most anticipated film of the year and hence it comes as no surprise that it is being dragged into the number game already.
But film's lead star cum producer SRK claims that he doesn't believe in the number game. No matter how clichéd it may sound, the star has the words which substantiate his claim.
"Telephones and mobiles have numbers, I and my films don't. Till recently it was about 100 crores and now it's 200-300 crores. I have no idea about the business of my films. How can you put a number on 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge', it has been running for 19 years?," questions SRK justifying his point.
Nonetheless, as his film 'HNY' is all set to be presented before the audience, SRK gears up for another grilling round of promotions. Apart from that, the actor also has a couple of films in the pipeline.
However, currently his heart and soul is dedicated to 'Happy New Year' which releases this Diwali.
