Nayantara has cleared the air on reports appeared in vernacular media, claiming that she has removed the famous 'Prabhu' tattoo, which was engraved on her hand when she was in a relationship with Prabhu Deva.

'I don't know how to react when I came to know about the reports, which said I went to Bangkok to remove the tatoo. If I wanted to remove it, I could have done it in India itself, 'said the actress, who recently had a split in her affair.

She also denied that Customs Officials conducted thorough check in her baggage after they received some tip-off from their sources. 'Undergoing security checks is routine and mandatory for travellers,' she said.

After her break-up with the actor-choreographer-filmmaker, Nayantara, who earlier bid adieu to cinema, announced her re-entry. Following this, she is currently acting in a slew of movies in Tamil and Telugu.
