After lying low on the professional front post the failure of his films like 'Mausam' and 'Teri Meri Kahaani', Shahid Kapoor is back to his winning ways and how!!!

The actor who has reportedly signed 'Vettai'(a South remake) and also a film with Yash Raj that will be directed by Maneesh Sharma, has nailed one more mega film.

We hear that the talented Kapoor will be seen in Ramesh Taurani's next production that will be directed by 'Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahaani' director Raj Kumar Santoshi. Like his previous film, the Shahid starrer too is expected to be a complete pot boiler, as the very genre of the film is suggested by the title 'Phata Poster Nikla Hero'. Going by the name we can expect it to be a complete commercial caper. 

The cherry on the cake is the fact that they have signed newcomer Ileana D'Cruz, who marks her debut with 'Barfi' opposite Ranbir Kapoor. She will be seen playing Shahid's love interest in the talked about film.

Confirming about the developments, producer Taurani says, "Shahid is our ghar ka (in-house) hero; a fabulous dancer and a huge star. Raj has worked with us on 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani'. However, what is most interesting is the fact that we have signed up Ileana opposite Shahid. It's a fresh pair," said Ramesh.

A debut with Ranbir and a project with Shahid already, looks like Ileana is here to stay!
