Filmmaker Abhinay Deo's upcoming film 'Blackmail' featuring Irrfan Khan and Kirti Kulhari in lead roles has finally come up with an official release date. The film will now hit the theatres on April 6. Earlier, the film was slated to release on March 30, but now they just have a week delay in the film's release.

An official statement from the makers read "After 'Delhi Belly', Abhinay Deo's quirky comedy titled 'Blackmail' starring Irrfan, Kirti Kulhari, Arunoday Singh, Divya Dutta, Omi Vaidya and a rich ensemble cast produced by T-Series and RDP Motion Pictures to now release on April 6." The comedy-drama is produced by T-Series, Motion Pictures and Ramesh Deo Production, the film marks the first-time collaboration of Deo and Irrfan.  

Irrfan Khan took this moment and shared the new release date of the film via Twitter. The actor retweeted the official tweet of T-series and captioned it saying, ''We had an absolute blast making it and can’t wait for you all to be a part of it! #Blackमेल coming to cinemas 6th April 2018."

Irrfan Khan will also be seen in the upcoming film 'Karwaan' which also stars Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar. So are you excited about this comedy flick too?
