Football has garnered immense popularity in India recently and Bollywood is no different. The ongoing FIFA World Cup fever has gripped stars like never before.

While Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan all are self confessed football fans, one star who has been closely following the game is the thinking man's actor, Irrfan Khan.

The actor recently confessed that though he is not a fan of the game and seldom follows it, this world cup he is rooting for Argentina as he is a Messi fan. "I'm not an ardent fan but I like Messi and Argentina," he said.

Though Irrfan doesn't religiously follow football, he revealed that his 15-year-old son is a huge fan. His son Babil, is currently in Sweden, where he is getting trained in the game.

Talking about his son, Irrfan confirmed that he loves football and is in Sweden to train for his passion and love for the game.

Among other star kids, SRK's kids Aryan and Suhana too play football and have done quite well at inter-school competitions.
