Tollywood witnessed the pooja of its first biggest multistarrer last week, when producer Dil Raju held the pooja of Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, a film starring Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh in lead roles, at his office.
Veteran director Dasari sounded the clapboard while K Raghavendra Rao did the honours of directing the muhurat shot. Both Mahesh and Venkatesh could not attend the pooja as they are busy with shoots of their respective films, The Businessman and Bodyguard.
Directed by Srikanth Addala, who made his debut with Kotha Bangaru Lokam, the film will have Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu playing never before roles, sources in the know say.
The producer said that the film got materialized after Mahesh Babu gave the nod after he listened to the story on the sets of Dookudu. Venkatesh had agreed to act in the two-heroes film even earlier.
