Well-known stunt master Jaguar Thangam has filed a complaint with Chennai City Police Commissioner J K Tripathy against Tamil Film Producers Council president S A Chandrasekaran, that he and his supporters threatened him with dire consequences.
According to Thangam, he recently attended a meeting of the Producers Council in Chennai on Monday, where it was deicded to start a new association for workers, to replace Film Employees Federation of South India.
When he opposed to it, he was allegedly threatened by S A Chandrasekaran and his men. Even some of them tried to assault Thangam but he was saved by other members of the Council.
In Thangam's own words, 'When I said that the shooting of Thuppakki (in which SAC's son Vijay is the hero) is going on without any disturbance at a time when shootings of other projects hit a roadblock, supporters of SAC said they will be forced to take Thuppakki (gun) against me if I continued to talk so.'
