(Cover) - EN Showbiz - James McAvoy has revealed he could make magic if Hulk Hogan, Ozzy Osbourne and Dame Maggie Smith were in one room together.

The Scottish actor plays Gnomeo in new movie Gnomeo and Juliet, which is an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet in animation form. Based on the William Shakespeare classic, the film features two garden gnomes trying to find lasting happiness as they are caught in the middle of a feud.

James said that despite starring alongside a stellar cast the movie also features the voices of Emily Blunt and Ashley Jensen - there was never a point where they were all in one room together as each actor recorded their parts separately. The 31-year-old star admits it would be fun to have such big characters in one room together and mused about other famous faces he would like to work with.

If I could get Ozzy [Osbourne], Hulk Hogan, and Dame Maggie Smith in one room together I think we could make magic, he told Kyle and Jackie O radio.

The actor who is best known for his roles in Atonement and The Last King of Scotland has revealed he enjoyed being part of a voice-over movie with such a diverse cast. He said that his experience of making the movie without live screen acting has been rewarding.

I dont prefer it I dont think, but I do really enjoy it. There are many things you get out of both, he explained. The one thing you do get out of doing the voice work as opposed to live acting is that you can do 20 scenes a day and you can do them 20 different ways, and you can get basically every single idea out and see if it will work or not. Its quite satisfying actually. (C) Cover Media
