The British star is guitarist for The Kills, which he formed with singer Alison Mosshart. The group are known for being edgy and Jamie is constantly amazed that people think they are sombre all the time. He insists that isnt the case, but worries if hes too open about his hobbies people wont take him seriously.

Were not always like this [pulls serious face]. Im just like anyone else. Ill come home from the gym, fix dinner and then watch a wildlife programme on the TV. You cant get more un-Kills than that, he laughed.

Alison thinks part of the reason they are often described as aloof and secretive is because they are actually very private. Neither likes having their personal life discussed in public although its something Jamie has adjusted to since beginning a relationship with model Kate Moss.

Im a very private person so maybe I come across like that, she explained. However, most of our fans are university kids or art students and so they can relate to us because thats how they are. (C) Cover Media
