(Cover) - EN Star Style - January Jones has revealed working with Mario Testino was a "dream come true".
The 33-year-old American actress is best known for her portrayal of suburban housewife Betty Draper in hit US show Mad Men, where she dons prim and proper attire in fitting with the show's 60s theme.
The star recently teamed up with fashion photographer Mario Testino for a Versace campaign, and the beauty says the collaboration was something she will never forget. The high-fashion shoot was completed when the actress was filming X-Men: First Class in the UK and January says the experience was fantastic.
"It was amazing. We actually shot it in London during the filming of X-Men and it was something that just kind of popped up and it was an incredible opportunity," she said in an interview with British TV show Lorraine. "Obviously I am a huge fan of Versace and I have a great relationship with them so the opportunity to work with Mario was a dream come true."
January insists she doesn't consciously think about being a fashion icon when she chooses her day-to-day attire. The stunning blonde claims dressing up is one of the most enjoyable things about her chosen career.
"I have a lot of fun with fashion so I don't try to out do what I did the last time in terms of talking risks," she explained. "I don't feel any outside pressure really. It is a really fun aspect of the job for me." (C) Cover Media
