Jason Segel overwhelmed by celebrities

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jason Segel was star-struck when he met Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

The comic actor has appeared in movies including Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Knocked Up and Bad Teacher, but still hasn't adjusted to fame. He was lost for words when the Hollywood couple praised one of his films.

"One time I was on a red carpet and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie came up to me and they said, 'We just watched Sarah Marshall. We just wanted to say hi. Great job!'" Jason told US talk show host Jay Leno. "And my response was, 'Oh, my God! It's you!'"

Jason admits other famous faces have also left him feeling overwhelmed.

He recalled attending a recent event where he was introduced to U2 singer Bono, Lady Gaga and former US President Bill Clinton.

"I've never felt more out of place, but I thought, 'It's worth it because I'll remember this moment for the rest of my life.' Then President Clinton came up to talk to me, and at that point, from then on, I have no recollection at all," Jason quipped. "I know he was charming. I don't think I said anything at all. I'm bad with this stuff.

"The same thing happened backstage with Lyle Lovett. He came into my room to say, 'Hey, I'm a big fan,' and I think I just stared at him."

Jason's latest big screen outing is in The Muppets, playing a fan who helps the popular puppet entertainers save their old theatre from a greedy oil tycoon.

The movie also features Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, Mila Kunis, Emily Blunt, Zach Galifianakis and Selena Gomez. (C) Cover Media
