Malayalam filmmaker Jeethu Joseph who directed the critically acclaimed 'Drishyam' from down south starring Mohanlal is now making his way in Bollywood. His blockbuster flick Drishyam has an 8.8 IMDB rating which is the highest till date for any Indian film. The director is all set to film a horror genre flick that will star Emraan Hashmi and Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles. The movie is decided to be an unpredictable horror thriller flick with an element of mystery and it will be produced by Sunir Kheterpal and Viacom18 Motion Pictures.
Emraan Hashmi who is roped for the movie said, "I'm really excited about this one. The film will be a riveting, nail-biting treat for fans of the genre and with Jeethu at the helm of things, I’m confident the film will be a game changer."
Officially announcing his Bollywood debut, filmmaker Jeethu Joseph said, "Directing a Hindi feature film has been on my mind for some time and I had been waiting for the right story. This crime mystery thriller with elements of horror has excited me tremendously and we have got perfect casting for the two protagonists in the film. I am looking forward to starting the film at the earliest."
Meanwhile, Emraan Hashmi is committed to his next project titled 'Cheat India'. Whereas, veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor's next film is with Amitabh Bachchan titled '102 Not Out'.
