(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jennifer Aniston says she loves making fun of herself.
The actress shot to fame in American sitcom Friends, playing ditzy fashion fan Rachel Green. Since the television show ended she has starred in a string of romantic comedies, playing a host of different characters. Jennifer loves appearing in funny movies and insists she has a light-hearted, laidback approach in both her personal life and her career.
"I'm actually comfortable in goofdom," she said in an interview with Allure. "Not taking myself seriously is one of my favourite things to do, because I don't. Ever."
The 41-year-old also spoke about her time on Friends. Jennifers layered haircut became a global phenomenon and even earned its own nickname, The Rachel, but the actress has confessed she doesnt remember it fondly. Even though hordes of forward thinking fashionistas dashed to hairdressers to replicate the style, Jennifer admits she regrets the look.
"Let's just say there have been moments I'd rather not relive, like that whole Rachel thing, she revealed. "I love Chris [McMillan, her hairstylist], and he's the bane of my existence at the same time because he started that damn Rachel, which was not my best look. How do I say this? I think it was the ugliest haircut I've ever seen. What I really want to know is, how did that thing have legs?"
Jennifer went on to speak about television dating show The Bachelor. In the popular series, a group of women compete to win dates with a guy and are eliminated until just one is left. The star admits she cant help watching The Bachelor sometimes, but only because she is shocked that women can become so attached to a man they barely know.
"I was mesmerized by these girls, they meet this guy, they have three dates together or something, and they're weeping as though they've just lost the love of their life," she added. "I don't understand that." (C) Cover Media
