9th June 2011

(Cover) - EN Movies - Jesse Eisenberg and Jake Gyllenhaal are in negotiations to appear in Now You See Me.

The movie is about a group of magicians who rob banks while they are performing and then give the proceeds to the audience. When the police are called, a game of chase ensues.

The picture will be directed by Louis Leterrier who is said to be keen to sign Jesse as one of the leads.

"Dealmaking with Eisenberg and Gyllenhaal is still in the very early stages, so don't be surprised if one or the other pulls a disappearing act due to scheduling, which is still being worked out," reports Variety.

A host of big names have previously been linked to the movie, including Colin Firth, Jim Carrey, Sacha Baron Cohen and Hugh Grant.

It's thought a number of actors have been contacted about other roles in the release, among them Philip Seymour Hoffman, Melanie Laurent and Olivia Wilde.

The movie is being produced by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, while the release date is yet to be confirmed. (C) Cover Media
