(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jessica Alba thinks physical attraction "is fleeting" and only lasts for two years when people are in a relationship.
The pregnant actress has discussed the way her body has changed in a new interview. She is expecting her second child with her husband Cash Warren and while she knows her body has altered, she finds it "bizarre" that people would go under the knife to transform their figure back to its old shape. Jessica also insisted that physical attraction can't be sustained in a relationship and it should be about personality rather than looks.
"That's just so bizarre, because the physical is so fleeting, anyway, and when you're in a relationship, the physical lasts for maximum, two years," Jessica remarked to Allure when asked if she would consider plastic surgery. "I can't ever get down to the weight I was before I had Honor [her first child]. My body's just different. The jeans just sort of zip up differently, and things hang differently."
While she's content that she won't get back to her previous figure the actress insists she loves being pregnant, and can't wait for the birth of her second child.
"There's a reason why certain areas of the body are desirable - because it all leads to reproduction," she explained. "There's a science behind it all. It's not just to sell whatever you're selling on a billboard or a magazine or a movie." (C) Cover Media
