Jessica Simpson is reportedly in talks with Weight Watchers for a new $4 million deal.
The pregnant star is expecting her first baby early next year and is said to already be thinking about shedding her baby weight and being paid to do so.
Jessica, 31, was apparently preparing to sign a deal with the company anyway, to lose the excess pounds she has put on over the past couple of years.
"But then she got pregnant," a source to Us Weekly. "So this was the perfect compromise."
The singer turned fashion mogul would have one year to "lose a significant amount of weight" using the programme's points-counting system.
She would then show off her "after" body in commercials like Jennifer Hudson has been doing over the past year.
Jessica is engaged to former NFL star Eric Johnson but says she is not letting her pregnancy pounds get her down.
"I'm bigger than I've ever been," Jessica told the magazine recently. "But I want to show off my bump!"
Jessica was the guest of honour at her baby shower over the weekend which was held at her Hollywood Hills home.
Gwen Stefani, Jessica Alba and Ali Larter were some of her famous friends in attendance, X17 Online is reporting.
