Justin Bieber took a DNA test on Friday in his ongoing paternity battle, it is reported.
TMZ claims that the Baby singer submitted to a laboratory in New Jersey and it is now down to Mariah Yeater to give her child's DNA.
The 20-year-old California woman alleges that she had a "30-second" rendezvous with Justin backstage at one of his concerts in Los Angeles last year that resulted in her getting pregnant.
Justin apparently took the test under "very controlled circumstances" and it would be very difficult for Mariah or her lawyers to challenge it if it comes back that he is not the father.
The site also reports that Justin and his team will not even discuss a settlement with Mariah unless paternity is proven.
The millionaire singer has vowed to file a lawsuit against Mariah and her lawyers once he establishes that he is not the father of baby Trystan.
Mariah has dropped her initial lawsuit against Justin but he apparently wanted to do the DNA test to silence controversy surrounding the issue once and for all.
Justin's manager Scooter Braun told Extra recently that they want to make an example out of Mariah, should her paternity claims prove to be completely false.
"Just because Mariah did it, we don't want it to seem like it's okay for everyone to say, like, 'I had Justin's baby or having his baby. I'm actually having Justin's baby. I'm pregnant. I'm showing soon," Scooter said.
