(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis are reportedly planning to get married this May.

The 47-year-old Hollywood hunk has been in a relationship with stunning French singer-and-actress Vanessa Paradis since 1998 and they have two kids together; 11-year-old Lily-Rose and Jack, eight.

The pair have always maintained that they see no reason to tie the knot, although those close to the couple say this attitude has recently changed. According to more! magazine, Johnny and Vanessa are set to wed in early May, at an intimate ceremony believed to be taking place at their family home in Plan-de-la-Tour in the South of France.

It has been claimed the decision has been spurred on by Lily-Rose and Jacks desire to see their mother walk down the aisle. It is believed the pair have waited this long to get married as they always wanted their children to enjoy the day too.

Johnny and Vanessas kids kept asking why they werent married like their friends parents, a source told the publication.

It was actually always Vanessa who never wanted to marry. But then she changed her mind, so they told their children they wanted to wait until they were old enough to enjoy the day as well.

According to reports, the romantic ceremony will include handwritten vowels in English as well as French, Vanessas mother tongue, and will be for close family members only. (C) Cover Media
