Abhishek Bachchan, who was in Chennai for cheering his football team, has been stranded there due to floods and heavy rain.

While the rescue operations are already in process, Jr. Bachchan tweeted for his well-being and thanked his well wishers for their concern.

He tweeted, "Thank you all for the concern. Am safe and dry. Thoughts and prayers with the people more severely affected. #ChennaiFloods"

Despite of bad climatic conditions, the match happened according to the schedule.
