Julia Roberts' pet peeve is people who are late with a "really stupid excuse".

The actress has enjoyed a successful Hollywood career, and understands what makes for a harmonious working relationship between the cast and crew. Julia says people with bad punctuality "drive her crazy".

"People who are late and people who are stupid," she exclaimed in an interview with the UK edition of OK! magazine.

"And if you show up late with a really stupid excuse!" she laughed.

Julia has three children with her husband Daniel Moder; twins Hazel Patricia and Phinnaeus Finn' Walter and Henry Daniel.

The 44-year-old star and her family strive to lead an environmentally-friendly lifestyle.

"As a family of five we can produce a lot of waste, so we compost. We have chickens, we don't use any superfluous paper products in our house, no paper towels or anything like that," she said.

"We have solar shingles on our roof. We have a lettuce garden because I don't like to buy lettuce in a plastic box. And we get our fish, meat and our fruit from local farmers."
