Julia Roberts has revealed why she will not succumb to the temptation of Botox.

The 44-year-old actress stars in upcoming movie Mirror Mirror as the Evil Queen who is obsessed with her looks and staying young.

And although she has had a long and distinguished career in the entertainment industry she told Access Hollywood that she does not want to change her face to look more youthful otherwise it will affect her relationship with her kids.

"My feeling is I have three children who should know what emotion I'm feeling at the exact moment I'm feeling it," Julia explained. "Like, that is critical."

The Oscar winner parents Henry, four, and seven-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus with husband Danny Moder.

But she told the entertainment news show that she is not against other women having the injections, albeit sarcastically.

"As a mother it's whatever works for the person," Julia said. "I don't want to judge somebody who can't turn their head or move their lips."

"I don't know if you want your chin on your forehead I'm not one to [judge]. If that's going to bring you joy, I'm all for it."
