(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Julianne Moore admits being a mother can sometimes squash her sexiness.

The actress has two kids - 13-year-old Caleb and eight-year-old Liv - with her husband Bart Freundlich. The star is a devoted mom, but finds it difficult to balance raising her kids and finding time for herself. Julianne believes many working mothers often feel unsexy because they are so busy trying to juggle their personal and professional life.

"I think [to feel sexy,] you need to be away from your children," Julianne told Tom Ford when he interviewed her for the American edition of InStyle. "Doing the mommy stuff does sort of squash that area of your life.

The day-to-day of picking up kids and going to the eye doctor and then dropping them off at basketball and then going to the middle school concert doesn't make you feel very sexy."

The 50-year-old went on to reveal that spending time with her husband never fails to make her feel special and is the perfect confidence boost. The couple who began dating in 1996 and got married in 2003 enjoy going on short breaks together so they can have some quality time alone.

"When I'm alone with Bart or when we take a trip," she replied when asked when she feels sexiest. (C) Cover Media
