Juliette Lewis appreciates her "sassy" new hairdo.

The 38-year-old actress dyed her hair red this week.

Juliette's new vibrant locks are having a positive impact on her daily life.

"You can see I am a redhead, so I am sassy," Juliette joked with Extra. "[It] allows me to do things that are more colourful."

Experimenting with hairstyles has been a glamorous break from her busy professional commitments.

Juliette stars in new TV series The Firm, which is based on the John Grisham novel that later became a hit film starring Tom Cruise.

The star is intrigued by the risky subject matter

"[The Firm] picks up where the movie left off," she explained. "They are all in witness protection for 10 years and then they get out."

Juliette's career spans decades. The star acknowledges that she has worked with legendary film greats.

"[Wood Alley is a] super down-to-earth and easy to talk to. [Johnny Depp is a] really inclusive, awesome good guy," Juliette gushed. "[Robert De Niro] taught me about professionalism [and Robert Downey Jr is a] mad genius, he blew me away!"

The Firm premieres on NBC in America Sunday January 8.
