(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Justin Bieber enjoyed a romantic meal with Selena Gomez last night to celebrate his birthday.

The pop star turned 17 yesterday, and went for dinner at exclusive Los Angeles restaurant Maggianos Little Italy taking along his singer-and-actress girlfriend Selena.

Last night Justin and 18-year-old Selena were photographed holding hands outside the restaurant, which is located at outdoor shopping mall The Grove in Los Angeles. Justin was dressed casually in a basketball jacket and high tops, while Selena looked elegant in a black coat and heels.

The teen hunk had confessed during a radio interview yesterday that he had no plans for any wild parties, so dining with Selena was a smart move.

"I'm probably just going to chill for my birthday," he explained to SiriusXM's The Morning Mash Up.

"No party or anything. I just want to relax. I have four days off; I want to chill."

The star did indeed enjoy some pampering over the weekend when he and Selena checked into a luxurious $6,000-a-night suite at the St. Regis Monarch Beach hotel in Dana Point, California.

The pair are believed to have been in a relationship since November last year.

After months of speculation, the cute couple finally confirmed they are an item by attending the glamorous Vanity Fair Oscar party together on Sunday night. (C) Cover Media
