Udhayanidhi Stalin has acquired the Tamil dubbing rights of the super hit Telugu film 'Magadheera'. This film is being dubbed in Tamil with the title 'Maaveeran', under the banner Red Giant Movies. Though this is a dubbed film, Udhayanidhi has planned to release the audio CD of the dubbed version. Since Chiranjeevi's son has done the lead role in this film, he was present at this function and released the audio CD.

Rajnikanth was supposed to receive the audio CD that waslaunched by Chiranjeevi but due to a recent incident that took place on the polling day, Rajni expressed his inability to attend. So instead of Rajni, Kamal attended this function.
