Kamal Haasan's upcoming movie 'Vishwaroopam' which is being made in Tamil and Bollywood has caught everyone by surprise. The movie excerpts that were showcased at the IIFA 2012 Awards in Singapore has left the crowd excited and anxious for the movie release.

But, the one person who was thrilled to hear all about the movie and the director is 'The Lord of the Rings' producer Barrie Osborne.

It is now heard that Kamal will make his international debut with Barrie Osborne and they both hope to tell an Indian story in a Hollywood style.

Kamal and Osborne announced their tie-up at the IIFA event held last week.

When asked, Barrie was all praises about the actor and director stating "It was a pleasure to meet Kamal (Haasan) over the years. Recently, he came to Hollywood to do some of his work on his new film 'Vishwaroopam'. I was invited to see the film and I was impressed. After that we started talking about the idea to work together. It is such an honour to know him because his knowledge of literature and films is like that of an encyclopedia".

The actor-filmmaker is also looking forward to working with Osborne, who has worked with the 'Champions of Hollywood'.

"The world has seen his work. You keep doing hard work but you are not sure if it is good work. It is only after people like Barrie approach you and make you realise" said the Tamil star.

"The lineage that Barrie comes with is close to my heart. All the heroes that I have looked up to have worked with him. He has worked with champions of Hollywood like Cappola (Francis Ford Coppola)" he added.

Haasan said that they are yet to decide on the kind of project they want to work upon, but if he has to act, write or direct the movie, he is all ready to do so and is very much excited about it.
