The British supermodel has eight-year-old Lila Grace with her ex-partner Jefferson Hack. Kate is constantly amazed by how forceful Lila is when it comes to getting dressed, as she refuses to wear most of the things Kate tries to put her in.

My daughter Lila has her own mind. She likes what she likes and she wont wear what I want her to wear, like pretty dresses. Shes like, No, I wanna wear cut-off shorts, Kate laughed. I want her to be in little white Victoria smocks and she wont do it, shell wear a Who T-shirt, denim shorts and a leather jacket. She looks amazing, but I want to put her in pigtails.

Being a mother is the most important thing to Kate, and she always makes sure she has time in her schedule to spend with Lila. They often travel to the stars country home in the Cotswolds in the UK for the weekend, as Kate who also has a home in London - likes the way she can be anonymous when she is there.

My house in the country is very countrified and eclectic, and thats my saving grace from juggling modelling, design commitments and Lila, she explained to InStyle. I go to the country on Friday afternoon and thats a whole different world. (C) Cover Media
