Keith Richards is "happy with the results" of his recent eye operation.
The 68-year-old Rolling Stones musician underwent laser surgery at a London clinic before Christmas to correct his deteriorating vision.
He is doing well following the procedure.
"He's music's ultimate survivor but not even the seemingly immortal Keith Richards can stop the march of time," a source told British newspaper The Daily Mirror. "It was a harmless, quick procedure and he's very happy with the results."
The surgery, which reshapes the surface of corneas, took approximately 15 minutes to complete.
Following the operation, Keith wore a patch over his eye.
He no longer needs to wear spectacles to see clearly.
The legendary guitarist is no stranger to health scares.
Keith sustained a head injury in 2006 after falling out of a tree on holiday in Fiji.
He underwent a successful operation to repair his fractured skull following the accident.
